🌐 HAB's online brain

To give smarter answers, HAB can send your messages to an online AI service. It uses them only to answer you, under its own privacy terms. HAB never sells them or uses them for ads.

Say no and HAB answers with this PC's own brain only: everything stays at home. You can change this any time in Settings → AI brain.

We'll send a 6-digit code to the recovery email on your account. Kids: ask a parent to reset yours. The owner can also use one of their printed recovery codes.

🗑 Delete my account

This deletes your account and everything HAB keeps about you, for good: your chats, what he remembers about you, your settings, your voice, your mail and family messages, your pictures and videos, your helpers and your Library collections. It can't be undone.

It joins the 🔧 Workshop queue (☰ → Builder → Workshop): HAB plans it, an admin approves the plan, the Toolsmith builds it, the safety check and Claude review it, and an admin approves the install before anyone can use it. The type limits what the tool may do. Tools can never change HAB himself, and tools that could hurt people, spy, pirate, cheat or break a site's rules are never made.

🔒 How HAB works and your privacy

What HAB is

HAB is our family's home AI. He runs on Alex's PC at home, not in a company's cloud. His brain is a model (gemma) running on that PC.

Where your chats go

Chats are saved on the PC. They are not sent to an AI company. Alex can read every chat, and the adults in the family can read the kids' chats. Alex also has a log of all chats and a watcher (the Sentinel) that checks HAB's behaviour. This is so everyone stays safe, and it's the same for everybody.

What HAB remembers

HAB notes lasting things about you (likes, family, pets) to help later. See, add and delete them in ☰ More → Settings → More → Memory.

What can leave the house

Kids

Kid accounts have extra safety rules, filters and a check on every reply before they see it. Some abilities are turned off for them.

Passwords and sign-in

Passwords are stored scrambled. New accounts need an invite link from Alex. Five wrong passwords lock an account for 10 minutes.

If something looks wrong

Tell Alex, or use ☰ → Mailbox to send a note. HAB asks before doing anything risky, and only Alex can approve it.

A team is several agents doing one job together, with HAB as the manager: he plans the steps, each member does its part with only its own tools, and he writes up the answer. Admins make teams; Alex approves them.

🐞 Report a problem
It goes to the people who fix HAB. Along with your words it sends the screen you were on, your kind of phone or computer, and any recent errors in the app, so the problem is easy to find. No names, chats or passwords are sent.

🎬 Video Studio
Videos are made on this PC's graphics card (HAB pauses chatting meanwhile). Text → video uses the fast model (Wan 2.1, about a few minutes); starting from a picture uses the bigger one (Wan 2.2, slower). Finished clips go in the chat and in 🖼 Gallery.
⏰ Helpers
Helpers run by themselves on a schedule, when the PC isn't busy, and put what they find in your 🔔 Inbox. They only read and draft: if a card can do something for you, it lists the steps and waits for your ▶ Do it. Email sending is paused for now.

Collections of files HAB answers from: PDFs, Word files, notes, text and code. Ask him about them in chat and he says which file and section the answer came from. If it isn't in there, he says so instead of guessing.

🐾 Meet your HAB

This is your very own pet HAB. Feed him, pet him, play with him, give him a wipe-down and tuck him into bed. Looking after him earns XP, and new levels unlock foods, outfits and rooms.

He never gets sick. At worst he's a bit hungry, sleepy, grumpy or messy, and he waits happily while you're away.

Leave it blank to keep "HAB". You can rename him later from 🐾.

Hellos, thanks and quick chit-chat (up to about 16 words, no attachments, no look-ups or actions) go to the quick brain; everything else, deep think and Try harder use the main model above. Each reply says which brain answered. Hold the button, say the phrase in your normal voice, then let go. Three phrases teach HAB your voice. He keeps only a voiceprint (numbers that describe the sound), never the recording, and you can make him forget it any time (✕).
